The Right to Information (RTI) Bill has been given Cabinet approval and is due to be passed as an Urgent Bill (an expedited legislative process). The official final RTI Bill can be read here

 

The Bill, which underwent public consultation, continues to poorly address issues regarding "commercial interests" and whisteblower provisions, amongst other concerns.
